This is usually the first event after The Masters.  I played it as the 2nd round of a 2-day amateur tournament so had to balance pace of play with taking photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1<sup>st<\/sup> is a relatively straight par 4 &#8211; here is the view from the tee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/wallydennis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_3135-1-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-917\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wallydennis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_3135-1-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/wallydennis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_3135-1-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/wallydennis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_3135-1-rotated.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see from the photo above, the majority of the course is pretty tight with OB on both sides of the fairway. It is not very long, but positioning off the tee is critical and the green is diabolical.  As one of my playing partners said &#8211; &#8220;It&#8217;s like it is giving you the middle finger&#8221;. I was a bit surprised that the greens were a bit slower than I expected, but they still rolled very well.
