While my friend Tim invited me up to Pinehurst for the weekend, he told me that we could play at Forest Creek if I could get there early enough on Friday. I was having an outpatient medical procedure on Thursday that required me to be put under, so I told him that I would try but was not sure how I would feel the next morning. Well, thankfully I had no issues and was able to get to Pinehurst by about 1pm and Tim had made a 2pm tee time for us.
When we arrived at the club, Tim showed me around the very impressive men’s locker room and clubhouse. They had a locker assigned for me (even though the misspelled my last name) and I just had to take a picture of Michael Jordan’s locker #23.

Unfortunately, I was tired from getting up so early and driving 5+ hours, so I did not take a lot of pictures. Here is the view from the 1st tee.
Final thoughts: I really enjoyed Forest Creek. I hope to someday get back and play the South course – I’ve heard it is also really nice. Many thanks to Tim for hosting me for the weekend!
